Nodame finite

I finally finished watching Nodame Cantabile last week. Not bad, on the whole. It was quite entertaining. :)  Doubt I'll watch the anime, though. I've a distinct idea that the main character (Nodame) will annoy me far more in the anime than in the live-action. She's the kind of female character I tend to have a low opinion of - acts like a lovesick puppy around Chiaki, seems to think she's his girlfriend or wife or something when she's nothing of the sort of him, talks in a kiddy voice, etc... Ergh. *shudder*

Chiaki was none too enticing himself, being rather arrogant in the beginning, but he got nicer towards the end of the series. Thanks to Nodame, of course, but for all her good influence on him and her sincerity, I still don't like her much. Heh. :P 

I liked some of the minor characters better than Nodame - like concert master Kiyora (she was pretty cool.. hehe), Mine and Kuroki the oboe player. I even liked cellist and violinist Kikuchi and Kimura better... (hm. what's with the Ks)

And, oh, Endou's character! Ookuchi Mamoru! *laughs* He was just good for laughs. Poor Yuuyan...  XD
At one point I thought, he'd better watch the way he keeps twitching his mouth or he's gonna end up like MatsuJun - with a weird crooked grin... ^^

But my favourite part of Nodame Cantabile was the music. :D
