A Love Song and A House of Sweets
Mar. 24th, 2008 12:32 amBefore I go into my Eito rambling of the day, I think I should clear up that favourite song meme I did some time ago, since there were some which no one got right .
Onto Eito!
So one of Kanjani8's shows is called Muchaburi, where they have to fulfil the request of the guest on the show. In this case, the guest was the famous singer/songwriter, Makihara Noriyuki (the wiki description says he's rather like a Japanese Elton John..?). He apparently wrote SMAP's Sekai ni Hitotsu Dake no Hana. (I have the song in my J-pop music folder, but the artist is unknown. hahah! I remember coming across it long, long ago when searching Arashi songs on Ares - way before I joined LJ - but it doesn't really sound like Arashi's voices to me. Maybe it's SMAP, but as I have no idea what they sound like, I can't tell. LOL. Anyway, it's a nice song.)
They had a short little Q&A session with Makihara-san, a.k.a. Makki, with a couple of random questions from some of K8. The first one was something about how he writes the lyrics for his songs, and Yoko said something that Makihara thought was a very good line, which prompted Yoko to make a gesture to the others, saying, "Someone say it!" The others started mumbling stuff about "uhm, so... our next single..." and such, which I think gave Makihara a pretty good idea of what was coming because he started chuckling. Eventually, Hina just decided to go for it and said, "Will you write a song for us?" Everyone burst into laughter. XD
Makihara began, "Well, actually, you know..." But he never got to finish his sentence because the next instant, Yoko dropped to his knees and prostrated himself on the floor before Makihara-san, saying, "I beg of you!"
Hina and Maru had to pick him up off the floor. Hina said, "Don't do it just on your own!" and Maru told him it was like he's attacking Makihara-san with his face. LOL.
(I'd just like to note that K8 as a whole looked great here, and for some reason I though the outfits looked best on Ohkura and Yoko. :P )
Oh, K8, you crazy fellas.
It's late and I have to be going soon, so...
In my next Kanjani8 post: Ryo turns into a total fanboy over Leah Dizon, irritates Ohkura and gets jealous of Yoko! XD
