Oct. 7th, 2008 02:41 amWas feeling really emotional and actually typed out a long-ish post, which I locked to a certain few people only... And then an hour later I deleted it. So, no more of that.
I watched the 24th September episode of Janiben with Matsuzaki Shigeru - and cracked up. (I hope I got his name right.) Overall it's not quite as funny as the Chris-san episode (maybe because I didn't understand a lot of the talk segment) but when it was funny... IT WAS FUNNY.
First, there was Hina - tricked into a kiss he didn't want nor expect. Now, normally I'd be quite creeped out, but because it was so fleeting (like what, half a second?), so sudden, and because Hina's flying leap off the sofa and subsequent facial expressions were priceless, I bore it fairly well. :P
Then there was the love song to Yasu (which was called For You, I think?), who took it quite well. Next they made Yoko be the subject! Poor fellow obviously didn't want to have a love song composed on the spot just for him and protested, shook his head vehemently, turned red... XDD But still he had to go through being serenaded by Matsuzaki-san.
He was SO SHY. And somehow it was so cute. XD

As I was watching this part, I found myself thinking that this would actually be relatively easy to translate/sub. (Robin, this must be your influence! hahah) Surprisingly I understood the whole song - although there are a couple of lines that I'm not sure how to translate (into decent grammatical English sentences) even though I get the meaning. none_neither, want to give me a hand with it? ;P ) I think I'd certainly try to sub it since it's not a long song. 8D I must be mad to even just think of it...
