elennielSome people do experimental music videos. I do experimental wallpapers. :P

By "experimental" I simply mean a style I haven't tried before or something I'm testing out. hehe
Ahem.
The "experiments" first.

I admit, I am absolutely delighted with the results above. *grin* (Whether or not anyone else agrees with me is another thing.)
Just one image, Photoshop and my graphic tablet. Was tough finding pics that suited what I was thinking of - nice images with substantial backgrounds that could be sort-of-traced. Had trouble finding a pic to use for the Shirota wallpaper. All my pics of him don't seem to have nice backgrounds; either they're blur in the back, or have article text scattered all over (too much to edit out) or are just head shots which I didn't want for this. Bleh. I'm happiest with the Endou one here. He stood out well against that garden background. :D In any case, I had fun with "tracing" the backgrounds. *likes to use loose brush strokes sometimes*
And, Yanagi. Was testing some colour and distort effects in the background. Wasn't sure if I should put this up or not, but I figured maybe someone would like it. ^^

#7 was tough, since there was text running over his hat. Took quite a bit of editing to get the text out and leave the hat looking intact. (If you look closely, you'd probably be able to tell where I edited it,actually. ^^; )
And Irei Kanata-san and Date, for good measure. heheh

Things to note:
- All are at 1280 x 1024 - because that's what fits my screen. Want a smaller version to fit your screen better? Let me know and if I have the time I'll resize it for you. :)
- The watermarks / sigs. They're there for a reason.
- If you'd like any of them without the watermark, just leave a comment with your e-mail (unless you've requested before, then I'll just check my contact list for your add) and I'll send the 'clean' version over.

I could do more like those - I want to - but it's hard to find pictures that satisfy me, since they have to have nice, substantial backgrounds (otherwise they end up looking like the Shirota one - wasn't too happy with the background on that, but didn't have much choice)
