Wallpapers: August 2009

elennielTo those who may have been waiting and wondering what happened to me, here's a brief explanation: life caught up with me, and foremost at the moment are my preparations for my Master's studies in the UK. I've been going nearly nuts for the past couple of months with so many things on my mind as well as that, so I didn't really have the time to sit down and put out a nice batch of wallpapers. I hope this makes up for it somewhat? ^^
Wallpaper posts may be a little erratic - or not - depending on how it goes when I start in mid-September. But I'll certainly try my very best to keep posting! (I sure won't stop making wallpapers. It's too nice a hobby to stop. 8D Well, unless my bandwidth is limited to the extent that I can't get to more pretty scans... I kinda doubt that though XD )
On to wallpapers!
This month: MatsuJun, Arashi, Sakurai Sho, Kanjani∞, Yokoyama You, Murakami Shingo, Yasuda Shota, V6, Miyake Ken, Nagano Hiroshi, TOKIO (experimental-ish...).

You don't know how terribly pleased I am with the HanaDan piece. XD And the other wallpaper isn't too bad either :D

Love 'em all~
The third one I did when at work one day and was in the mood for wallpapers but had no scans to work with. It was interesting to make, although the result mayn't be anything fantastic. (ImageBam kinda ruins the white in the thumbnail...) I was just imagining a wall with coloured squares of paper on it for me to scribble notes on. (Does that make sense? 8D)

See, I was wandering around some design sites and saw a tutorial for a typography-based poster... and I thought, "Hey, this might work nicely for wallpapers too - with some colour shifts and textures..."
And I suppose this could be considered "work-safe" - along with the third K8 one up there. Sure, the band members' names are all over, but it's still more innocuous than having good-looking guys on your desktop. :P

- Wallpapers are at 1280 x 1024 and/or 1440 x 900. The 1280x1024 may differ slightly from the 1440x900 because what works in widescreen may not always work in normal resolutions, and vice versa. Also, I generally don't take requests. Sorry to sound mean about it but I don't have the time nor the energy to oblige everyone, much as I would like to. ^^
- The watermarks / sigs. They're there because I've had my stuff stolen before (a Bleach wallpaper) and I don't take well to that sort of thing....
- Credits are given on the wallpapers when possible. "Impossible" usually being situations where I forgot to note down the source of the pic and can't seem to find the original source again.
- If you'd like any of them without the watermark, just leave a comment with your e-mail and PLEASE state whether you want 1440x900 or 1280x1024 and I'll send the 'clean' version over.
- Do drop a comment if you like them, or if you have any suggestions. :)
- Also, please do NOT post my wallpapers anywhere else without first asking me. Generally I won't say no if you ask nicely and credit me. hehe
