A Bit of Room Zero and a Bit of Others

(I know I seem to be posting a lot all of a sudden, but I feel like I need to get some flailing or fandom babble out of my system now in the first week of the new sem and before work proper begins. 8D )

I was trying to screencap Guests of Room Zero because I wanted an image of that highly entertaining wall. Just for the heck of it. XD

It's just so amusing how first there's Doumyouji with a whopping 97 points (and looking pretty good, I might add) and then suddenly in the next arc there appears Ryo with a score of 90.  XD Maru and Yasu's dialogue about Ryo was funny too; something along the lines of: "It's that guy who's in a lot of dramas" "Do you think he's a Johnny's?" "Naaaah. No way." "You're right." ahahahahaha

Then I started thinking that the exterior of that hotel looks very familiar.


(Probably a lot of people have noticed this already but I'm going to note it anyway for my own reference. :P )

I thought it really looked like the Trick Heart Castle or whatever it's called in Atadan.
And lo!


I thought some more. Then went to pull up the one episode that I actually have of Yukan Club (and the only ep I watched XD ).
Sure enough...


This is one popular mansion for dramas. lol

loll yaa, when i was looking at the mags preview i saw the castle i know is the same one already. but they made a pretty difference on the interiors i guess..lol (or they avoid familliar angles)

i saw another version of 'guests of room zero' and the dialogue was a little different... it went sometime like:
"think we could have made it into johnny's?" "... No way!! not with our face"
(just mentioning it because i thought it was funnier than the one you heard; but i dont know which one was right...)

the castle is also used in that new drama with kamenashi, tegoshi, and uchi, 'the wallflower' or something...

HMmmm. I just rewatched that part. And that translation you mentioned makes way more sense! Chalk it down to the Japanese way of not really using pronouns and stuff. 8D

Hahaha, I knew that castle was kinda familiar but I never really bothered to try and place where I had seen it before :P

tarwen862003 mentioned a couple of comments above that there was an alternative translation to that Maru & Yasu bit about Ryo. After rewatching that part, I think the alternative makes more sense. ^^

an absolute great [and crack] band [that sadly broke up a few years ago] used this castle in one of their pvs, too! they were called psycho le cému with their song michi no sora <3

That castle sure look familiar...
It must be popular since three dramas use it.

And the hanging photos, it is an honour for them to be in the drama.
A subtle promotion for them, maybe...
