Wallpapers: February 2010

Meant to post this on the first but didn't get around to it and was stressed all day on the second so... it ended up getting postponed to today. 8D 

First off, unwatermarked Eito calendar wallpapers for February and March:

I really meant to try slightly different designs but just didn't have time. I'm sorryyyy. ;_;

I think my Eito wallpapers are the highlights this time, so let's start with those, shall we?
Kanjani8
1. * 1366x768 *1280x1024
I'm quite in love with this. ^^ (This one has another size - 1366x768 - because I realised that this particular one, with the "stamps" going up so close to the edge of the screen, didn't fit so well on my 16" laptop so I had to make another one with slight adjustments to fit my own screen.)
If you've seen the original scan those pics came from, you'd know that there was some sort of stamp theme going on there too. I just took it further by giving them new frames I was too lazy to crop the exact squiggly frames from the scan and making the whole thing look like it was a real letter/package from Eito, complete with special postage mark thingies. XD
Also, trivia! The address and signature note are all composed of or inspired by song titles ;)

(I actually edited the line of stamps further - shifted them about so they didn't look so straight - but that's not in the video because I did that the next day, after contemplating the look of it overnight.) Edit, 9 May: I took the video down.

I made this as far back as 2008. (see the watermark?) I just kind of kept hanging onto it... Like, there was never a really good time to post it? I dunno.  But I know I made this aiming for something retro, and with a kind of ticket stub feeling. It was just one of those times when I was going with "what if" question - rather like with that Eito mail piece at the top - "what if... you had these little tag thingies with info about the song on them?" Also was an exercise in typography. :)

Kanjani8, Heavenly Psycho:

I don't have 1280x1024 versions of Heavenly Psycho and Honey Beat yet, but if you'd like one, just drop me a line. ^^

- Wallpapers are at 1280 x 1024 and/or 1440 x 900. The 1280x1024 may differ slightly from the 1440x900 because what works in widescreen may not always work in normal resolutions, and vice versa. Also, I generally don't take requests. Sorry to sound mean about it but I don't have the time nor the energy to oblige everyone, much as I would like to. ^^

- The watermarks / sigs. They're there because I've had my stuff stolen before (a Bleach wallpaper) and I don't take well to that sort of thing....

- Credits are given on the wallpapers when possible. "Impossible" usually being situations where I forgot to note down the source of the pic and can't seem to find the original source again.

- If you'd like any of them without the watermark, just leave a comment with your e-mail and PLEASE state whether you want 1440x900 or 1280x1024 and I'll send the 'clean' version over.

- Do drop a comment if you like them, or if you have any suggestions. :)

- Also, please do NOT post my wallpapers anywhere else without first asking me. Generally I won't say no if you ask nicely and credit me. hehe
