Shiwake∞ #21 and #26

elennielOh, just loads of screencaps (more than 40?). Just a little bit from #21 and the rest is all #26 - well, not the whole ep, but just the most hilarious parts. Some Shiwake episodes or clips really need to be subbed, but my translating powers are just not there yet so this is the best I can do for now to share some K8 fun. ^_^
(I think these sort-of-translations are good practice for me. They force me to look up kanji I don't know.)
In Shiwake #21, Kanjani∞ have to figure out which parent-child pairs are not really parent-and-child. Tacchon goes third after Yoko and Ryo who both succeed in guessing that the parents and children in pairs #4 and #5 are not truly related to each other.
Tacchon decides to focus on pairs #1 and #8.
But before they can go on Hosei-san (not sure if I spelled that right...), who was the fake dad in pair #4 (picked out by Yoko), pipes up from the side: "Excuse me!"
He says that he can't help wondering...
... but what's the matter with Tacchon's nose?
XDD (Don't tell me you didn't wonder either seeing that first screencap.)
Tacchon got sunburnt, it seems. ahahahahaha

In Shiwake #26, K8 have to figure out which of the women are in their 40s (they're all either in their twenties or forties) and their opponents are a team of... comedians? Presumably, since I saw that guy from "Fall in Love" there. 8D Well, let's just go with geinin. That seems like a safe, general term. haha
Yoko goes first for K8 and succeeds, then geinin team fails, and next is Tacchon. (This post is full of Tatsu, isn't it? XD )
He shortlists three and puts this question to them:Which celebrity* would you want to embrace?
* geinoujin translates to "performer", but I think in terms of context, "celebrity" sounds better.

enshinge has brought to my attention that there's a certain connotation to 抱く that is more common now, so perhaps a better translation ought to be "which celeb would you want to sleep with?" 8D (See, I've still a loooong way to go! en is awesome. *thumbs up* )
Miss 3: Fujiki Naohito
Miss 6: Takamizawa-san of The Alfee.

Miss 7: Watanabe Ken
(Tangent: Tacchon has such a nice smile...)
Tacchon thinks that Miss 6's answer is a bit dubious. I can see how he thought that - it's almost like she gave that answer on purpose to throw him off.
He thinks it's Miss 7, because a woman in her twenties would be more likely to consider Watanabe Ken in the light of a father figure.
And so Miss 7 is his pick.
Once she walks into the room and he's had a chance to assess her in person (instead of via a TV screen), he's asked for his opinion and reasoning again. He says she looks like she's dressed herself look younger on purpose.
So, "Miss 7, you are in your forties."
He's right~
There's that delightful grin of his again ♥
There's a bit of an uproar on both sides because she looks so young. (She does, don't you think so? I did think she was one of those in her 40s at the beginning of the ep, but if I'd seen her elsewhere, without this context of figure-out-who's-40+ I wouldn'thave thought it...)
Really. In her forties? Wow. I want to look like that when I'm forty. I want to look like that now, in fact. *sigh*
"How old are you?" asks Tacchon.
"Forty-one."
Cue disbelieving uproar again.
Baru: "A-are-are you single??"
Shibutani Subaru! Oh, you. XDD
She is, and she's "taking applications."
Of course, an outburst from everyone follows.
"Out of all the guys here, whom do you think is the best?"
"As my lover? Or as someone I'd marry?"
Caption says it all: Great excitement!
Not just K8, of course. Geinin-team get all worked up too. They ask her to choose two. hahah
Baru presents himself as a candidate by standing on his chair. XDD
Hina: "Sit down!"
"Lover first!"
Obvious choice.
Obvious choice is happy and can't resist a "yossha!" sort of pose.
"THAT'S SO NORMAL!"
*cracks up*
Next, she chooses the one she'd marry.
Turns out to be Kokado-san of the geinin team.
"HA~!"
(Well, it's "wa", really, but that sounds weird in English. ^^; )
"JOHNNY'S!"
(My interpretation of that would be: "HA! Take that, all you Johnny's!!" lol)
Behold, the looks of defeat.
Maru doesn't look as defeated as Baru does somehow...
Second last is Hajime of Fall In Love, and he chooses Miss 3.
He's right, and she's 42.
Kokudo-san asks her the same question he asked Miss 7. (Caption: "This is the custom?" hahaha)
K8 react to that...
... by hurriedly sitting down and trying to look calm.
"Nishikido-san."
Caption: Second time today.
He's definitely happy about that.
Everyone else isn't.
"That's so normal!" hahahaha
Ryo looks faintly bewildered. Hmm, no, more like a combination of bemused and bewildered, maybe.
Yoko interrupts: "We [K8] are more hurt that you geinin-san!"
Indeed they are.

I don't understand Yasu's expression. 8D (But one thing I do understand: that hairstyle is AWFUL and it's a darn good thing he's rid of it now. ugh. >_> Waitaminute. *stares at screencap* Yasu, are you still wearing pinky rings??)
