Janiben 11.11.08 - Nanao Likes Snakes

In this episode of Janiben the guest, Nanao, has a passion for snakes (and reptiles in general). Naturally, the staff aren't going to miss a chance to make the Johnny's idols squirm... so they bring in two snakes and a lizard.


Tacchon and Baru look the most upset about the prospect of snakes in the studio.



They bring in the 3 reptiles in separate glass tanks with covers. Upon seeing them open the tanks, Ryo goes, "Don't open them!"
Tacchon: "Why did you open them?!"


Nanao picks up the blue-tongued lizard and calls it kawaii. Maru and Yasu (who are clearly the bravest in K8 when it comes to reptiles) join her in ooh-ing and aah-ing over how smooth and snake-like it feels.


Baru just says, "That's totally a lizard!" (Because she said earlier that she likes snakes. He's trying to point out the difference XD )


She turns to him and he backs away immediately: "DON'T!!"


Yoko wonders what the ball python is thinking... and doesn't notice the lizard peeking its head over the top of the tank.


He turns and - "UWAAAHH!!"


Maru picks it up and holds it out to him.
"What do you think you're doing?!"

Please also note the Tacchon way in the back there. He stayed in the back for most of this segment. XD


Yasu puts the milk snake around his neck. It tries to kiss his ear (or so Maru says. hahaha)


At one point, Ryo suddenly notices that all three tanks are empty.
"Eh? Where've they all gone?? Where's one more?!"


Yoko begins saying, "Well, just -"
Ryo spins around and backs away a step, thinking Yoko has the lizard. (This is something that needs to be watched. The action just doesn't translate to words well. 8D )


Yoko's just like "what? I don't have it" whilst Maru calmly walks over, cradling the lizard...


Yoko gestures for Ryo to look behind him, which Ryo does...


"AAAHHHH!!!"
... and he runs away super fast. XDDDD





As far as he can get. XD


"Scary, scary, scary!!!"
I like to watch this bit over and over again. It's just so funny how Ryo panics when he realises he doesn't know where the third creature is and then gives himself a fright because he thinks Yoko has it, and proceeds to get an even bigger fright when Maru happily brings it to him. XD


"Is it safe to keep [snakes] with dogs? They won't eat toy poodles?"
LOL Oh, Tacchon.

There were a couple of other funny parts but as I'm working on subbing this segment, I think those can wait. ;)

I think I like his tone the best. He's like, "Give it to me straight, bro-- Can it eat my dog?" XDD

Ahhahahaha! Yes! It's that tone of complete seriousness (is that even a word?). He's so not kidding when he wants to know if they'll eat small dogs. Tacchon, Tacchon. XD

ahaha omg Tacchon and Baru's expressions in the first pic, so classic xD You know, I thought Yasu was just making a very effeminate hand gesture until I saw you write that he had a snake on him xD Maru is the biggest troll out. Poor Ryo must have been terrified but ah so entertaining xD

Thank you :). Tacchon was standing at least 3 m away during the whole segment. It would probably be totally hilarous, if they'd tease him as much as Ryo. Ryo's reaction was priceless. I've never seen him running so fast! XD

I was half expecting someone to call Tacchon on his cowardice throughout bu no one did. I guess they were too busy worrying about themselves to care that he was basically hiding behind the couches XD
