Ah, "Glamour."
Aug. 6th, 2007 01:38 pmI just felt like sketching my three prom outfits. hahah

I think I was really blessed to be able to have gone for 3 proms out of the 4 years I was in uni. They were fun. heheh... Nah, I didn't have dates. Oh wait. I did. First year. That was because my friend kinda ran out of options. HAhahahah! The girl he initially asked turned him down (I think) and since a number of our other friends were going already, he decided to ask if I wanted to go. Some of my other friends were like, "Go! It'll be fun! So many people going already!" so I figured, okay, I'll go. XD
The next prom I went to, I went because so many of my close friends were graduating that year - it was like a sort of "farewell" party cum prom for us. Then the last one... My final year in uni! Of course I was gonna go with my friends. hahah
Never wore a short dress to prom. Didn't like the thought of it. Besides, long gowns make me look taller - and convenient when I don't have beautiful legs. XP (My hands are nice, at least.) I never put all my hair up either. I'm under the impression that I look better with some hair framing my face. And I'm so glad I didn't have another black gown for the last year! That would have been boring. (I had a silver gown. =D ) I did have, like, colour schemes each time though... Black/gold, black/green and hints of pink, silver/lavender and a smidgen of gold. ah memories........... :P
I kinda enjoyed getting all dressed up for proms. Get to feel so princess-ish for the night. * v *The next prom I went to, I went because so many of my close friends were graduating that year - it was like a sort of "farewell" party cum prom for us. I curled my hair the second time and third. But left it loose in '06 and tied half back in '07

Date: 2007-08-06 07:50 pm (UTC)That one was cool to me because I picked out most of it myself. With the first one, I had lots and lots of help from my friend. The second one, I had less help, but still some "consultation." With the silver outfit, it was all decisions on my own. Was so happy it turned out so nice and "matching." heheh

I wonder if I'll ever have another chance to wear them, though... Hm... Think I'll have to wait until my friends start getting married and have wedding dinners I can wear 'em too XD
