Of Okada and Ohno

Okada Junichi was Arashi's Plus One guest! And they just had to bring up the issue of Okada's seniority to Ohno despite them being the same age and presumably from the same batch of Juniors. (I'm sure this has come up before in a Shiyagare episode, but here they all behave like they've never heard of it. We know you know it already, guys. But we'll forgive you - there are things you just have to do for TV entertainment...  XD )


Ohno: "We're contemporaries!"
(I.e. They're from the same batch, or joined at about the same time.)
Caption: Same-year combi.

Sho asks which year they joined.


"'94."


"Around '95."


Everyone kind of goes, "What? Wait a minute. Say that again?"
Caption: You're contemporaries, right?


"I joined around '95."


"I joined in '94!"


"Okada, aren't you my junior?!"

Ohno's indignant response was pretty hilarious. XD Forgot to upload the screencap of Arashi's response, but they found it hilarious too. ahahah

Then Okada brings this up:

When they were Juniors, Ohno had said that, "I'll draw a picture for Oka-chan!"


But Okada points out that "we've been together [in the same agency] for 19 years and he hasn't given me even one..."
lol, Ohno looks like he's beginning to see what's coming next.


"Yet recently, he gave a picture to Kamenashi..."
(Funnily enough, right before watching this episode of VSA, I watched Rakuen's latest subbed VSA [the 2013.05.16 episode], which happened to be the one where Kame was the Plus One guest and he mentioned the painting Ohno gave him. XD )


Nino says to Ohno, "Well, you are contemporaries so..."


"We're not contemporaries; HE'S MY JUNIOR!"
(I think I need to sub these 2 minutes or so. Ohno's tone of voice is hilarious!)


Everyone cracks up (again). Including me. XD

It is an old thing but still so funny how they bring it up like it's news. Haha I think it was also mentioned on a previous VS Arashi episode where Okada is a guest. :P

I wonder if they ever get bored pretending that old news is... new. XD
It's like how K8 bring up Maru's bodybuilder parents every now and then. And people react with such shock... But surely just about everyone who knows K8 knows that by now. hahah
