There was a strange sort of amusing irony in that whole situation for me personally... =P

Ryo-chan~ (Oh I love what Eco Week has done for K8's styling.) "Refreshing" is the word. He has... a really cute smile.
My youngest imouto declares that Ryo is "TOO handsome!" and hopes that the Hey! Say! Jump lot, who are around her age, will turn out as good-looking.
I dunno about the rest of you, but I think Maru looks really good here. Really really good. *__*
Hm... I have to admit that lately Ken-kun has been getting good photoshoots. Ikemen da yo! (How can this guy be 28 this year??)
And this is another fellow who's been getting some good photoshoots recently. ♥
I'm not too fond of the pattern on that sweater - it's a bit dizzying after looking at it for a while - but the overall styling is nice. It gives me this vague feeling of English aristocracy. Or something of the sort. :P
I was looking for something Arashi to talk about (I can't help but feel conscious of the fact that some of my f-list miss me rambling on and on about them ^^; ) and since all the recent shoots have very very low appeal for me, I turned to older shoots and came across this one:
(Yeah, I know it's missing Aiba and Nino but I picked the three pics I liked best to put here. Putting all five in a row would have made the image too wide or else the individual pics would have been too small for my liking.)
Artistically, this is definitely one of my favourite Arashi photoshoots. It's from one of the 2003 Wink Up mags. I loved the desaturated and almost pastel colours; they give a nostalgic, relaxed air to the pictures. (I personally think that Ohno's pic has the best colour combination.) And the lines created by the folds of the cloths that the guys hold - especially in the cases of Sho and Ohno - adds the impression of grace and 'flow' which I find really nice. Overall it's a very graceful, calm and faintly nostalgic photoshoot. It doesn't seem to be a common concept for most JE idols' photoshoots, which made this even better. :)
And just for fun...
Seventeen-year-old MatsuJun and Okada (If I estimated the year of the Viva V6 photobook correctly). XD
When I first showedsnoew that pic of Okada, I think she said he looked like MatsuJun. And skyura said it doesn't even look like Okada. LOL. But it does look like him... doesn't it? hahah
Also... Duet 1995.

The first time I saw this pic, I nearly burst out laughing. I mean... Just look at Kamisen!! Long-haired Ken, cute Go (makes me wonder where the 'bad boy' look sprung from) and Okada with a hairstyle that reminds me of Ohno's when Arashi debuted. ahahahahahaha
I know I didn't look particularly great in my late teens either, but still... I just have to laugh at this. ^_^;
(Nagano looks good though! :Db )

Seventeen years isn't really "chibi" for me, but in any case, Okada was a real good-looking 17-year-old. (Jun was cute in a dorky kind of way.. hehe)
