elennielLooking back in my archives, November 2006 was the first time I posted wallpapers on LJ. November 16th. Two years, wow... I meant to post on the 16th this time too, but I had a whole bunch of things to do and couldn't manage it in time. >.<
But I'm posting today! Just three days off - and it's Okada Junichi's birthday too? 8D
This month's post consists of: Shirota Yuu, Endou Yuuya, Nakamura Yuichi, Arashi, Ohno Satoshi, Sakurai Sho, Kanjani∞, Yokoyama You, Nishikido Ryo, V6, Okada Junichi, Nagano Hiroshi, Miyake Ken and Sakamoto Masayuki. Lots, eh? ^^

So we start with the D-boys lot... the fandom that lasted a short while before I discovered Arashi and JE. =P

Birthday boy! (Soon, anyway.) I somehow think I should have done more of him... but then the Arashi fandom will most likely explode with Ohno stuff next week, so... never mind. 8D

And this is where the bulk of today's post is - V6!!!
If you're a JE fan and you have never ever heard V6's stuff... Well, I personally think you're missing out. ^_^ ( I mean... Sakamoto! I'm quite convinced that he's the best voice in JE at the moment. Ohno comes in second; please don't kill me. Heh. And collectively, their sound is... well, I love it!)

Heh. That came out kinda looking like a heart... 8D
This was kind of a test... I wanted to see if I could get the text to look at least semi-believable in that environment. Not perfect, but I think it's not that bad either. (And I like how 20th Century's colours stand out after I desaturated the background XD )
* Only widescreen because it won't look nice in a more squarish format like 1280x1024.

One of my best wallpapers, I think. Textures and patterns are starting to become one of my 'things,' along with the retro style. heheh

Didn't manage to get rid of the graininess of the original photo so I had to make the background grainy as well to match. It actually turned out kinda okay. hahah! ;)

Words cannot describe how much I like this wallpaper. :)
And lastly for V6, these are some of those wallpapers I like to call "Work-Safe." For us working adults, it can be a little awkward at times to have a desktop wallpaper with all the guys plastered on it. So I have these wallpapers that use just text and graphics, but that are directly related to the group in question. Indirect fangirling. ^^ (I think I posted a couple before - Arashi-related ones - but am too lazy to hunt through my archives for them right now.)

Okay, the grungy look isn't exactly my expertise, but I do like to mess around with it once in a while. ^^
As for that quote - I thought those lines from The Godfather suited it. eheh
Also only one size at the moment, but I might do a 1280x1024 version if people want it...

- Most are at 1280 x 1024 and/or 1440 x 900. If there are two versions of a wallpaper, the 1280x1024 may differ slightly from the 1440x900 because what works in widescreen may not always work in normal resolutions, and vice versa.
- The watermarks / sigs. They're there because I've had my stuff stolen before (a Bleach wallpaper) and I don't take well to that sort of thing....
- Credits are given on the wallpapers when possible. "Impossible" being situations where I forgot to note down the source of the pic and can't seem to find the original source.
- If you'd like any of them without the watermark, just leave a comment with your e-mail and PLEASE state the size you want and I'll send the 'clean' version over.
- Do drop a comment if you like them, or if you have any suggestions. :)
- Also, please do not post my wallpapers anywhere else without first asking me. Generally I won't say no if you ask nicely and credit me. hehe
